Hi Elyse,
It's hard to believe just how fast the year is going, especially when you consider that we have not long ago had Easter and just now Anzac Day and before you know it, Mother's Day is also fast approaching. The other very important date to keep in mind right now is the End of the Financial Year. It won't be long before the financial year draws to a close and another begins. Many of our clients are right now thinking that it is time to spend the last bit of their marketing budgets before June 30th or risk losing it. Even if it is just on Cupboard Fillers!
At JEM Promotional Products it has been an exciting year for the team. We have been kept busy by attending various events both internally and industry based. We continue to strive to have a well trained team so they can best service our clients needs. Today the team found out a lot about branding and copyright matters at an information session conducted by our industry's association APPA. These sessions are part of ensuring our team keeps up to date with important issues relating to our industry.
Recently our team also attended a training session on how to best outfit teams requiring Corporate Uniforms and are now eager to assist our clients with any uniform needs. We are able to meet with you and your work colleagues and show you our sample kit consisting of various uniform items such as skirts and jackets so please let us know if it is of interest to you and your company.
Another event that some of the team recently attended was the Macarthur Lifestyle and Business Expo held at Mount Annan Botanical Garden. The natural beauty of the landscape made it easy to combine business and pleasure. The JEM team took the opportunity to promote one of the most popular products in our range - Exodus Hoodies. It has certainly been popular not only in Macarthur District but all over NSW. We would like to congratulate one of Ingleburn High School's students....who was able to submit the winning design in our competition for the best hoodie design. He won 10% off the order value as well as a Fuji Instax Camera for himself. It was a very popular competition with many talented entries but Ingleburn High School's really captivated the sense of team effort with their facebook student interaction throughout the design process.
Another important day for our team here at JEM is our yearly Biggest Morning Tea event and it will soon be here. We hope to have some of local clients share a 'cuppa' with us on Friday the 28th of May at 11.00am and possibly donate some coins towards finding a cure for cancer. The Cancer Council is one of the charities we support so we hope we can make a difference with whatever amount we can raise on the day. Please let us know if you are free and can attend.
On a personal note, one of our team members recently welcomed a baby into the world. Many of our clients will be happy to know that Jade Nugent had a baby girl a few weeks ago and named her Mabel Beth. Mother and baby are doing well and we wish them all the best for the future! We are all waiting in anticipation for her first visit to the JEM office and with a predominately female team, there won't be any lack of baby-sitters!
Guide to Logos and Artwork
Once a logo or artwork is created the challenge shifts to the re-producing of the logo or artwork fathfully and consistently as per the original design. The consequences of not adhering to this is inconsistent branding or a negative image of the company through poor reproduction of it's most visual marketing asset.
