Laser Engraving is the process of using a precisely focused laser beam to etch into the surface of a material. Using a PC and specific engraving software laser engraved mark can be controlled on an individual level.

Depending on the item's material various etching outcomes are used to produce optimal results. The main three concerning most promotional items are:
ENGRAVING: Is the process of etching into a solid material creating a depth and contrast with the surface, such as engraving a metal alloy key ring.
TEMPERING: Is the process of utilising more intense heat rather then etching depth to create a darker contrasting mark, such as engraving stainless steel pens.
Ablation: Is the process of removing a surface layer to expose a base metal underneath.
Individualisation of items with names or numbers is easily achieved.
- No ability to reproduce colour.
- Laser engraving is often to subtle for promotional marketing
A ceramic fluid can be applied to a clean and flat stainless steel surface then laser engraved to produce a black to dark brown mark as an alternative to silver.
- Repeat charges cover the cost of artwork prods, re-jigging and all steps to ensure the product is set-up again
Most common Laser Engraved products:
Stainless steel mugs, metal key-tags, pens, and business card holders, USB flash drives.
Any bare metal, stainless steel or anodised aluminium (such as key rings, pens and mag-lite torches respectively) offer the best YAG laser marking contrast.
With CO2 laser marking acrylic and wood are optimal materials that achieve the best result.
